Why do you meet in a office/warehouse setting?
It's practical, and a comfortable enviroment, and it gives us room to grow.
How did you select your name?
We chose the name Discovery, because it's our desire for people to discover the Grace of Jesus!
What should I wear when I visit?
Our dress code is simple... please do!
Wear what ever you normally wear. Jeans are fine. Our Pastor and staff do not dress formally.
Do you offer Childcare?
Discovery has much more than childcare! During our worship services we offer a safe and secure place for your children to learn about the love of Jesus. This includes, songs, videos, music and fun filled teaching about the Word of God.
Are the messages relevant to me?
Yes, Pastor Steve shares practical life changing truths that will speak to where you are. Through life illustrations, humor, and God's awesome word, we believe you'll never fall asleep at Discovery.
Where do I go when I get there?
When you walk into the lobby we have a hub with coffee, information and smiling people to help you, direct you and answer your questions. The hub has information about Discovery, our small groups, youth activities and more.
What type of music do you offer?
Our music rocks! It's designed to be uplifting and bring you into an encounter with Jesus. You'll experience powerful, anointed praise and worship in an exciting atmosphere.
Will someone make me feel uncomfortable?
All valid questions!
We want you to feel as comfortable as possible at Discovery. We won't point you out in service as a first time guest. We have friendly people who may come up and talk to you and assist you.
Is Discovery Church part of a denomination?
Discovery is a independent non denominational church.
We align ourselves with such ministries as Joel Osteen, Lakewood Church, Houston, TX. Pastor Joseph Prince, New Generations Church, Singapore. Pastor Brian Houston, Hillsong Church, Sydney, Australia and Andrew Womack Ministries, Colorado Springs. CO. Although there is no perfect church, these Ministries teach the message of Grace and Hope to all who receive Jesus Christ. Therefore, "Church" is not for perfect people, but people of all walks of life seeking a deeper relationship with God.

As and independent church, Pastor Steve is accountable to an outside board of ministers. At Discovery, we believe in keeping the ministry streamlined and not having committees or bureaucracy that can get in the way of what God is doing. Ministries are therefore started by "gifted leaders" who have a burden and ability to lead that ministry.
How do I become a Member?
Obviously, we want everyone to be a part of Discovery's mission, but we also want them to completely understand what were about and the process. We offer a six-week course called "Discovery 101" which explains what we believe, how we do things at Discovery, and what it means to be a member. Discovery 101, is offered several times during the year, please check the bulletin for a date and time.
